New NOVA Exhibition’ Present Company on all this week.
Affordable art for Christmas
I’m showing work at the lovely Art House Cafe in Cromer from Monday 1st April until Saturday 11th May. Continuing my watery themes, ULTRA MARINE: An artistic journey under the waves’ , includes some photographic-based pieces, along with new prints and several ocean-themed paintings.
For the first time, I’ve also made some lovely ‘ocean-inspired’ jewellery featuring recycled vintage, antique & semi-precious beads and real drilled sea-glass. There are plenty of new greetings cards to choose from, as well as some attractive ‘dolphin’ tote bags, so you can say goodbye to plastic in style.
Fused glass artist Susan Purser Hope will be filling the Cafe window with her quirky and colourful bowls & dishes too.
There will be a PV at the cafe on Friday April 5th from 6.30-8.30 pm.
All welcome.
Thanks to the Eastern Daily Press for featuring our forthcoming exhibition

We’re working hard making new pieces for our joint exhibition in March at The Anteros Gallery in Norwich. Inspired by the fragile beauty of the marine environment of the Cromer Chalk reef, we contrast this unique world with the developing tragedy of plastic pollution in our oceans.
We’ve made both individual pieces and a number of collaborative ones featuring glass, print and paint in combination. I’ve also created some particular items for sale which I hope will raise funds to assist local groups working to help clean up Norfolk’s beaches and rivers. More about that soon.
Sharing our concerns, we’re pleased to welcome Anwen Hurt to our Private View on Thursday 7th March at 6~8 pm. Lady Hurt will be formally opening the exhibition and is a passionate ambassador for Norfolk and Norfolk arts.

The first exhibition for the new Wells Maltings arts complex in Wells-Next-the-Sea opens at a Private View on TUESDAY 26th JUNE. The exhibition ends Sept. 30th.
I’m happy to say that one of my prints, ‘Natural History’ , (above) was selected. It was inspired by the crumbling sedimentary layers of the North Norfolk coastal ridge where I live and is part of a ‘History’ series of three images (below).
